Questions Due: 7/20/2021 2:00 PM Waukesha County (the County) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to the replace the current analog Jail Security Closed Circuit TV System (hereinafter referred to as the System). The County desires a digital jail security/surveillance system (hereinafter referred to as the VMS) that will meet the needs of the Jail. The design for the VMS was completed as part of Waukesha County RFP 2015 issued in October of 2019.The Design document (Appendix A) will be provided upon request. As it contains camera locations and building schematics, it will not be posted, but provided by contacting the Buyer listed on page 1 of this RFP. A VMS Summary and Specification document is included as Appendix B. An information sheet of the Waukesha County Government Information Technology Division Environment is included as Appendix C. These documents are hereby incorporated into Waukesha County RFP 2115 by reference. Waukesha County has pre-qualified the following products for video security camera recording software: Avigilon, ExacqVision and Milestone. Waukesha County has pre-qualified the following manufacturers for server hardware: Hewlett Packard and Dell. Waukesha County has pre-qualified the following manufacturers for camera hardware: Axis, Avigilon and Hanwha. If proposing other manufacturers see Section 2.01 B. of Appendix B. Firms must provide product data, manufacturer's printed or electronic data sheets, manufacturer's installation and operation manuals, and warranty documentations for all proposed components of the VMS. The Contractor will provide and/or perform the following as part of the contract award: o Project Kick-off Plan; o Provide Manufacturer's Product data sheets; o Procure all material proposed in the VMS solution; o Install all materials/product in the VMS solution, including but not limited to cameras, servers, Video Management Software and networking equipment; o Configure all materials/product in the VMS solution; o Install cabling for the VMS solution; o Train users/staff of the VMS; o Interface with the door call up system; o Provide ongoing Support and Maintenance; and o System documentation 1.Provide full submittal package to the County including all equipment, Manufacturers data sheets with specific devices highlighted; 2. Perform project kickoff meeting with the County to review submittal package and project plan in accordance with Section VII. Project Management. No additional work is to commence until preliminary project plan is accepted by County PM; 3. Meet with County IT to confirm all required network settings for switch and VMS integrations; 4. Meet with jail administrative staff to coordinate install times and locations as well as all required safety and training requirements
