The Project includes the following Work: the construction of a single 1,500 gallons per minute production well and installation of 10-inch ductile iron raw water main. Alternative A includes the replacement of the existing valve vault and the expansion of the 10-inch raw water main. The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the Bid or a Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidders maximum Bid price. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the current wage determination as published by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce. The City of Circleville, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete within 150 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run.
