Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kitchener, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project includes the reconstruction of approximately 350 metres Courtland Avenue in the city of Kitchener, Hayward Avenue to Overland Drive. Work within the contract includes replacement of 450 metres storm sewer, 400 metres sanitary sewers, 350 metres of 300mm dual use watermain, complete road reconstruction including 5,700 m3 earth excavation, 8,000 tonnes granular B, 2,400 tonnes granular A, 2,300 tonnes SP 19.0mm, 800 tonnes SP 12.5mm, 1,500 m2 concrete sidewalk, 900 metres curb and gutter, 1,400 metres pavement markings and associated landscaping and restoration.
