Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Work shall include the supply and installation of a new bridge culvert over a tributary to Whitford Creek located 18 km southwest of Andrew (NW 24-55-17-W4M). The Contractor shall install 2 - 1.8 m diameter CSP culverts by 29.0 m invert lengths as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culverts will be located on a 30 degree right hand forward skew to the local road, centred at Stations 5+548.094 and 5+551.906. The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Traffic accommodation - Site isolation and turbidity monitoring - Fish capture and release - Demolition and disposal of bridge structures - Excavation, including geotextile filter fabric - Supply and assembly of culvert materials - Backfill, including backfill material testing - Heavy rock riprap erosion protection - Roadway work - Permanent environmental protection devices Documents can be obtained from https://buildworkscanada.com Bid values not disclosed.
