Renovation of a medical facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The University of Alberta is inviting Elevator Contractors with proven experience successfully completing Work on Elevator Modernization projects to submit a Proposal for the Biological Sciences Elevator Modernization No. 92 and 96 located on our North Campus. The general scope of Modernization work includes (but is not limited to): .1 Supply and install new geared or gearless machines, motors, and hoist ropes; .2 Refurbish or replace any deflector sheaves; .3 Supply and install new auxiliary braking devices; .4 Refurbish existing over-speed car governor; .5 Refurbish existing car safety devices; .6 Supply and install new elevator control systems with VVVF motor drives; .7 Supply and install new landing systems; .8 Retain, refurbish, and reuse existing car fixtures; .9 Supply and install new hall fixtures .10 Supply and install new closed-loop door operator systems and car door restrictors; .11 Supply and install new car door sills; .12 Refurbish existing hall door systems and supply and install top and bottom hall door retainers and mechanical access where not currently installed; .13 Supply and install new car and counterweight guide systems. .14 Supply and install all new hoistway, car, and machine room wiring; .15 Supply and install new car exhaust fans;
