Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Newark, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,700-square-foot municipal facility.

The work is general described as follows: Remove and replace approximately 7,700 square feet of existing membrane roof system, including membrane, insulation, coping, penetrations, roof drains, blocking, flashing and crickets. Sealed bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The Village of Newark reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. The number of days within which, or the dates by which, the Work is to be substantially completed, and completed and ready for final payment are set forth in the Agreement.
