Site work and renovation of a civil project in Ansonia, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work for which proposals are invited includes two contracts. Contract A consists of replacement of 2,603 L.F. of 8" sanitary sewer, 11 manholes along with two manhole flow meters, installation of one diesel pump at a lift station, and all related appurtenances. Contract B consists of cleaning, televising, and cured-in-place pipe liner for approximately 18,313 L.F. of 8" through 12" sanitary sewer and related work. Engineer's Estimate: Contract A - $430,000.00; Contract B - $813,000.00 Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on the projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than September 30, 2022. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). Additionally, attention of Bidders is called to the requirements contained in the Contract Documents, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions including the Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the US Department of Labor and included herein, various insurance requirements; various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Village of Ansonia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
