Site work for a water / sewer project in Smyrna, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Smyrna is requesting Sealed Bids for a unit-price contract for the installation of approximately 9,800 linear feet of new 6-inch PVC and the reconnections of existing water mains, service laterals and fire hydrants. The existing asbestos cement pipe and cast iron water mains will be abandoned in place. TIME FOR COMPLETION: The contract time for Substantial Completion for the total project is 120 calendar-days. The City of Smyrna reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Quotations and award in the best interest of the City. QUESTIONS: All questions or requests for additional information must reference RFQ 22-034 and must be submitted in writing by 5:00 PM, Friday, June 17, 2022, Questions must be submitted to Melanie Head, Croy Engineering, via email at mhead@croyeng.com. All questions and answers will be issued in an addendum. No contact will be permitted between bidders and any other City staff members or elected officials, except through the Purchasing Department.
