Renovation of a residential development in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The roofing and siding projects will be bid separately, and selected bidders may have to coordinate work on the jobsite. Qualified bidders for the siding project must be certified by the EPA for Residential Repair and Paint (RRP), use certified renovators, and follow lead-safe work practices. A copy of this certification must be submitted with bid documents. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the total bid amount shall be submitted with each Bid. This Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, which provides that training, employment, and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by section 3, shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing. This project is receiving Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. Consistent with other Federal programs, CDBG requires various Federal laws, regulations, and guidelines the successful bidder and their Subcontractor(s) must comply with including but not limited to: Title VII of the Civil Right Act of 1964 and Executive Order 11246; and 24 CFR Part 75 Section 3. The Indian Creek Foundation of Souderton, PA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding when, in the opinion of the CEO or his designee, such rejections or waivers shall be to its interest or advantage.
