Renovation of a museum in Sterling, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

Notice is hereby given that Sterling Park District will accept bids for the replacement of shingles and copper standing seams on Dillon Home Museum according to the Drawings and Specifications in the Project Manual as prepared by Mac Brady Associates, Inc., 4415 W Harrison Street, Suite 502, Hillside, IL 60162. All Responsible Bidders submitting Bid Forms for this work are required to visit the subject site, compare the Drawings and Specifications in the Project Manual with work in place and inform themselves of all conditions. The Contractor shall provide to the Owner shingle manufacturer material defect warranty for 50 non pro rated years, and, from poor workmanship for 10 non pro rated years. Includes manufacturer wind speed coverage for 130 mph for shingles, ridge and hips. Contractor shall provide to the Owner 5 year workmanship warranty. This building is a Historical Landmark. The Contractor will be required to pay no less than the Prevailing Wage Rates (as recorded by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act - 820 ILCS 130 and in Springfield, IL) on this Project as established by the U.S. Department of Labor and must comply with the equal opportunity provisions set forth in the Contract Documents. The Contractor also shall comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations. The Sterling Park District reserves the right to determine the low, responsive, responsible bidder, to wave irregularities, and to reject any or all bids. Responsible Bidders will not be given extra payments for conditions that can be determined by examination of the site and documents.
