Renovation of a residential development in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The City of Jacksonville Community Development will be accepting sealed bids for the attached rehab project under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. ROOF Remove existing roof covering and felt and discard. Replace all deteriorated wood on all fascia. Examine all roof sheathing for any deterioration. If any deterioration is discovered, contact Jacksonville Community Development for inspection and approval of the replacement of sheathing. Install new 15lb felt 6" on center with a 6" head lap and 20 "butt lap". Install new 36" wide, self-stick, modified bitumen under-layment under .027 aluminum flashings in valleys. Install new 25 year three tab composition shingles per manufactures specification. Shingles are to be install on a 5" offset pattern. New plumbing jacks and new drip edge flashings to be install also. Install new shingle over ridge vent. All construction debris is to be removed by contractor. Owner to select choice of in-stock color of shingles: Cost to remove and replace a 4' X 8' sheet of damaged or deteriorated roof sheathing. All deteriorated or damaged sheathing must be pre-approved for replacement prior to removal of sheathing GUTTERS Install 5", K-type, seamless, .027 gauge, aluminum gutter, 5" square downspouts and concrete splash blocks to service right side of rear roof. Color to match existing gutters. BATHROOM Completely demo the bathroom, remove all fixtures and discard. Ceiling Remove existing ceiling, discard. Hang, tape and 3-coat finish 1/2 " drywall with screws 8" on center. Run boards with long dimension horizontal. Wet sand, texture, prime one coat and paint two coats of ceiling white paint. Drywall- Water resistant Remove all existing wall covering, discard. Hang, tape, sand, and 3 coat finish 1/2 " water resistant drywall in wet areas. If drywall repair is needed on the remaining walls, it will be addressed in a change order as needed. Install 2 x 4 backer board for installation of 24" grab bar for handicap commode. Apply a 3/8" bead of adhesive to framing member and screw or nail 8" on center. Install Ceramic White Tile board Wall Panel on all walls, all seams to be trimmed out and painted to match newly install wall panel board.
