Base Bid: The removal of existing exterior coating and lead-based primer, installation of a drip edge on the overhanging portion of the roof eave with flush seal and no air gap, the cleaning of all exterior surfaces (excluding the roof), the installation of new primer and topcoat to all exterior surfaces (excluding the roof) for a 1-million-gallon ground mounted cylindrical steel water storage tank, approximately 24 feet in height and 84 feet in diameter, or approximately 6,335 square feet. The removal of existing exterior coating and primer, the cleaning of all exterior surfaces, the installation of fixed through ladder and ladder cage with locking base, and the installation of new primer and topcoat to all exterior surfaces of a 75,000-gallon ground mounted cylindrical steel water storage tank, approximately 23 feet in height and 24 feet in diameter, or approximately 2,645 square feet. The removal of existing interior and lining and primer, the cleaning of all interior surfaces, to include walls, base, columns, and ceiling, and the installation of new primer and lining to all interior surfaces of a 75,000-gallon ground mounted cylindrical steel water storage tank, approximately 23 feet in height and 24 feet in diameter, with estimated four (4) columns, totaling approximately 4,670 square feet. Bid Add Alternate 1 (Notice of Award may or may not include this item): Add the removal of existing coating, the cleaning of exterior surfaces, and the installation of primer and topcoat to the exterior roof surface of the existing 1-million-gallon ground mounted cylindrical steel water storage tank, approximately 84 feet in diameter, or approximately 5,545 square feet.
