The City of Farmington is seeking bids from Contractors for the construction of sidewalk, ADA ramps, pedestrian push buttons, and utilities to comply with the Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way (PROWAG) Guidelines (July 26, 2011), on the north side of 20th Street. Question Cutoff Date: 01/20/2021 04:00 PM (MT) The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Costs (OPCC) is $931,920. The Bidder shall submit with their bid a bid bond (proposal guarantee) equal to 5% of the total amount bid. If awarded a contract, the undersigned Bidder agrees to substantially complete the work for final acceptance within 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages in the amount of $1,500 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter that the work remains uncompleted. For this Project the DBE participation goal is in the Advertisement. If the Bidder can meet the DBE goal it shall complete this form and submit the same before Bid Opening. If the Bidder intends to meet the goal by self performing the Work, it shall list itself and complete the input fields in the DBE Goal Form A-585. The intent of the Contract is to provide for the construction and completion of the Work to the satisfaction of the T/LPA. The Contractor shall furnish experienced supervision and labor and all Materials, Equipment, tools, transportation and supplies required to complete the Work in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and terms of the Contract.
