Exterior Building Repair. 1. Cutting and Patching. 2. Demolishing designated building equipment and fixtures. 3. Demolishing designated construction. 4. Cutting and alterations for completion of the Work. 5. Removing designated items for reuse and Owner's retention. 6. Protecting items designated to remain. 7. Removing demolished materials A. UNIT PRICE #1: Additional Masonry Tuckpointing: 1. Provide a Cost per Linear Foot to remove additional unacceptable mortar and tuckpointing joints at Scored face Concrete Masonry Units, per Specifications, which may be determined unacceptable by the Owner/Architect and are outside the scope of the contract. B. UNIT PRICE #2: Additional Replacement of Existing Sealant Joints with New Sealant: 1. Provide a Cost per Linear Foot to remove existing deteriorated sealant and backup material, provide and install new back-up material and silicone sealant for use at existing masonry sealant joints, per Specifications, as determined by the Owner/Architect and if outside the scope of the contract. C. UNIT PRICE #3: Additional Concrete Masonry Unit Patching: 1. Provide a Cost per Linear Foot to saw cut/grind out additional cracks in the Scored Face Concrete Masonry Units and patch with the vertical masonry repair mortar, per Specifications, which may be determined unacceptable by the Owner/Architect and are outside the scope of the contract. (Repair #1)
