Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Longview, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project provides for the new construction of the Fire and Police Training Center. This phase 1 of construction will include a 4 -story fire burn training tower (FireBlast Global- 5,400 square feet), earthwork, grinder pump and sewer force main, water main line, storm water pipe, concrete paving, electrical and CMU restroom (290 square feet) with metal roof(1,000 square feet). Construction services for this project will be selected through competitive sealed proposals in accordance with Chapter 2269, of the Texas Government Code. The City will evaluate and rank the contractors based on the following selection criteria: 15% Contractor and Subcontractor Relevant Experience, References and Qualifications, 75% Cost Proposal, 5% Proposed Schedule and 5% Construction Safety. The City shall select the contractor that offers the best value as determined by the selection criteria and ranking evaluation.
