Site work for a water / sewer project in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: The replacement of the gravity sewer collection system in the Orchard Island area. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages. Attention of the Bidder is called to the various insurance requirements and various equal opportunity provisions. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). The construction of this project will be funded in part with funds made available from the Federal Government through the US Army Corps of Engineers Section 594 program. Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for construction projects receiving Federal aid including, but not limited to, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and the Davis-Bacon Act as amended. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The bid notice is also available at www.logancowpc.com on the homepage.A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project The current negotiated goalsfor construction related activities are 1.3% of all contracts to MBEs and 1.0% of all contractsto WBEs.
