Demolition, site work and addition to an elderly care / assisted living facility in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Completed plans call for the addition of a 28,940-square-foot, one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; for the demolition of a elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The project consists of a sixteen (16) unit, single story, slab on grade, wood framed structure. There will be fifteen (15) new single occupancy units and one (1) single occupancy unit to replace an existing unit that will be demolished as part of the project scope. The total project will comprise 9,472 SF. The project will be an addition to the existing facility. The new addition is substantially similar to the existing "Mill" memory care wing and will involve demolition and renovation work within theexisting wing. The exterior courtyard will also be expanded and modified. Existing underground utilities will need to be relocated for the addition. The addition includes three Add Alternates. Add Alternate #1 includes a new porte cochere and porch connector. Add Alternate #3 includes re-siding the existing "Mill" memory care in vinyl siding to match the addition. The last Add Alternate, Add Alternate #2, includes the re-roof of the existing facility and may be awarded independently from the addition. It should also be noted that if the base work bid exceeds the estimated cost of work by a sufficient factor the Add Alternate #2 may be awarded while the base work may not. Logan Acres Memory Care Expansion Partials are NOT allowed for this project. The deadline for questions has also been extended, all questions must be received no later than, Tuesday May 23 rd (5) working days prior to the date of the bid opening.
