**As of August 13, 2021, project has been awarded but awarded amount was not confirmed The City of Lindsay has released a Notice of Inviting Bids for the Wastewater Influent/Effluent Flow Control & Monitoring Project. This is a Design-Built Project. The minimum required contractor license classification is a C-10 Electrical License. The City of Lindsay wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is located at 23611 Road 196 (also known as Hwy. 65) approximately 3 miles northwest of the City. The WWTP is rated at 2.25 MGD and operates under Waste Discharge Order No. 98-195. The WWTP consists of two (2) 15 HP chopper lift pumps, headworks with Parshall flume, two (2) oxidation ditches, three (3) secondary clarifiers, finish effluent Parshall flume, five (5) evaporation/percolation ponds, an emergency overflow pond and sludge drying beds. Variable frequency drive control for the two (2) chopper lift pumps. 2. Accurate flow monitoring of the primary influent into the WWTP. 3. Accurate flow monitoring of the finish effluent transported to the evaporation/percolation ponds. 4. Remote monitoring and control operations of the completed project. o Merging of our existing water system remote monitoring and control shall be also be included.
