This is a Design-Built Project. The minimum required contractor license classification is a C-10 Electrical License. The City of Lindsay wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) is located at 23611 Road 196 (also known as Hwy. 65) approximately 3 miles northwest of the City. The WWTP is rated at 2.25 MGD and operates under Waste Discharge Order No. 98-195. The WWTP consists of two (2) 15 HP chopper lift pumps, headworks with Parshall flume, two (2) oxidation ditches, three (3) secondary clarifiers, finish effluent Parshall flume, five (5) evaporation/percolation ponds, an emergency overflow pond and sludge drying beds.
