Site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Saguenay, Quebec. Working plans call for the addition of a 24,030-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; and for the renovation of a medical facility.
The expansion and renovation of the Jonquière Hospital emergency includes construction of an approximately 2,720 m2 addition and redevelopment of the existing emergency areas. The work will help to solve problems of exiguity as well as improve local ties and the functional organization of the emergency and admission sectors. Project # 525933. TIMELINE: Working drawings are complete. Project is pending funding and government approvals. Tender call and construction are undetermined. Further update in summer, 2026. Total project budget is $83,000,000.
