Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified CONTRACTOR to provide all labor, materials, permits, inspections, re-inspection fees, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidental items essential for the installation of five (5) emergency generators at five (5) critical locations. Services shall include: Demolition of existing service and other demolition services; Provide and install generators and automatic transfer switches; Install electrical underground feeders; Provide all electrical work necessary for a turnkey installation; Site and civil work associated with installation; and Structural, concrete and masonry work For any Project Total that is equal to or exceeds $200,000.00, CONTRACTOR shall provide a Bid Bond following the requirements as stated herein. Following County Board approval the awarded CONTRACTOR will be required to provide a Performance & Payment Bond meeting the COUNTY requirements also found herein for 100% of the Project Total. Fees/costs associated with procuring any bonding shall be at the sole expense of the CONTRACTOR and such shall be covered by the Project Total provided by CONTRACTOR for this project From the Notice to Proceed or the Purchase Order date, whichever applies: 270 calendar days to Substantial Completion, 30 calendar days from substantial completion to final completion (total days 300).
