Project Number-GAOA Contracting Service Area #7, Southwest Zone has a requirement for a Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) paving project on the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237310 and size standard of $39.5M. The government intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. This is a Performance Price Trade-Off acquisition and award(s) will be made based upon the best value to the government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be posted to the beta.SAM.gov website on or about Jul 25, 2021. The estimated proposal due date is Aug 23, 2021. No response to this notice is necessary and all interested contractors should register on the Interested Vendors List on the beta.SAM website. Prospective contractors must be registered in the beta.SAM prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the government. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Contractor shall adhere to the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) as shown in the plans. Sediment logs may be used in place of silt fence in the SWPPP. Upon project completion, contractor shall remove all sediment logs installed and all sediment logs that are in place throughout Segment B and Segment D. Removal of previously existing sediment logs in Segment B is incidental to Base Item #BG-1-5. Removal of previously existing sediment logs in Segment D is incidental to Base Item #BG-2-5. submission of questions before May 10, 2022.
