The owner has selected a Construction Manager or Design Builder. A timeline for construction has not yet been established The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide design / build services for the Prince Georges Sports and Learning Complex - Site Dewatering and Aquatics Competition Pool - Maintenance Repairs / Renovation and Leisure Pool Repairs located at 8001 Sheriff Rd, Landover, MD 20785. The work is to provide a design solution and the construction of a permanent site dewatering solution, repair critical competition pool maintenance issues along with related renovation items of the existing recreation center's aquatic area and perform maintenance repairs at the leisure pool. All utilities (gas, electric, water, sewer, CATV, telephone, and so forth) serving the construction area shall be verified and a plan to maintain services during construction period shall be implemented. An MFD subcontracting level of participation of eighteen percent (18%) has been established for this RFP. This contract shall be in effect from the date of full execution until final payment and disbursement of funds. ALL WORK TO ACHIEVE SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED IN NINE HUNDRED FIFTEEN (915) CALENDAR DAYS from the date established in the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion. The Offeror shall have additional 60 calendar days from Substantial Completion to Project Completion, to accommodate all punch list items and final payment.
