The work of this project includes improving drainage to prevent the signal system form shorting out and prevent dripping underneath on the Target Field equipment. The MCUB participation goal for this contract is 9%. CONTRACTOR shall complete the Work in the manner and within the time specified in the Contract Documents and furnish labor, materials, tools, appliances, and other items necessary or incidental to the Work required by or reasonably inferred from the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for the means, methods, and techniques of construction, except for means, methods, or techniques expressly detailed on the Drawings or explicitly required by the Specifications. 1. The CONTRACTOR will supply the necessary traffic control and obtain permitting from MNDOT, City of Minneapolis, Metro Transit, and any other permitting organizations. 2. Install drainage system through deck to storm sewer. 3. Contractor will core drill through concrete structural deck. 4. CONTRACTOR shall remove and replace existing damaged bollard. 5. CONTRACTOR shall remove section of track infill slab. 6. CONTRACTOR shall Drill holes along the bottom of the signal vaults. 7. CONTRACTOR shall remove and replace concrete pavement and subbase for below grade drainpipe installation. 8. CONTRACTOR shall connect drainage to existing storm sewer manhole. 9. Contractor shall connect drainage system to existing drip pans and junction boxes. 10. CONTRACTOR shall provide a 12-inch min. wide ADA truncated dome warning strip as called out on plans. 11. CONTRACTOR shall seal conduit openings in signal vault. 12. CONTRACTOR shall schedule concrete pavement work with CAR to avoid operational disruptions to Target Field. 13. CONTRACTOR shall coordinate work with the CAR. 14. CONTRACTOR will need rail insurance.
