This project has been awarded to Richard T. Barrett Paving Company Inc in the amount of $549,491. The bid shall provide for approximately 37,950 sy of roadway milling and installation of 5,045 tons of HMA 9.5M64 surface course and other associated work as set forth in the specifications. Work will be performed on various residential streets and Princeton Pike between Province Line Road and the Township boundary with Princeton Township. All work on Princeton Pike is restricted to the hours between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The Contractor is also advised that this project was funded in 2019/2020; however, construction was delayed to allow completion of the Trenton Water Works lead water pipe replacement program. Trenton Water Works is anticipated to complete the project in August. Paving cannot commence on affected residential streets until Trenton Water Works completion. It is anticipated that a construction contract will be awarded on August 17, 2021, subject to the availability of funds in the 2021 Adopted Budget and 2021 Capital Plan. The completion of the project shall be thirty (30) working days from the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be made on the proposal forms included with the bid specifications. Bidders must comply with the regulations of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 -1 et seq.
