The work to be executed as herein described and shown on the drawings entitled Emergency Shelter Facility for the city of Conway in Conway, Arkansas 72032. New construction consists of the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, and services necessary or reasonably incidental to complete the construction of the aforementioned project on a site shown and described on the drawings.
The general construction consists of a remodel of an existing building that is 2661 sq ft combined with additional new construction of 4881 sq ft building. Grant parameters require this project has to be a remodel, therefore preference should lean heavy on the 2661 sq. ft. remodeled facility. Construction consists generally of site work, site utilities, earthwork, asphalt paving, building foundation, masonry and manufactured stone veneer, misc. steel, rough carpentry, prefab. wood, trusses, millwork, foam insulation, interior finishes, architectural shingles, drywall, acoustical ceiling, doors and frames, hardware, glass and glazing, painting, bath accessories, interior signage, fire sprinkler, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, generator, automatic fire alarm and security system. This is a General Contractor project where all work will be performed under the General Contractor contract. All questions concerning the project details shall be directed to Jamie Brice at Jamie.brice@conwayarkansas.gov. The deadline for submitting questions is February 21 at 5 P.M. and none will be accepted after the date. The subsequent responses to any requests for information shall be remitted by no later February 23 at 5 P.M. No addendums will be issued in the final week of bidding.
