License Requirements A Liquidated Damages $1,00.00/day Q&A Deadline 07/30/2021 5:00 PM (PDT) All bids submitted shall be accompanied by a check made payable to the City of El Cajon, and certified by a responsible bank, in an amount which shall not be less than 10% of the amount of the bid, or by a surety bond for said amount and so payable, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of California, and satisfactory to said City. A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, shall be executed by the successful bidder within ten days after the Notice of Award of Contract has been mailed. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it considers it necessary to do so for the public good, and it may reject the bid of any bidder who has been delinquent or unfaithful in any former contract with the City.
