Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 271,000-square-foot educational facility; laboratory facility; and for the demolition of a 148,000-square-foot educational facility.

Plans call for the demolition of the seismically deficient 148,000 square foot UC Hall and the construction of a 271,000 gross square foot building on the site to include new research, academic and educational space. Working drawings for the Site and Make-Ready Work portion of the project began following approvals at the University of California Board of Regents: Finance and Capital Strategies Committee on September 21, 2022. Relocation of utilities and exterior abatement of UC Hall is anticipated to be completed in July 2023. Demolition of UC Hall would occur after the exterior abatement, with completion by December 2023. Construction of the new building and remaining site improvements for the west campus are scheduled to begin at the end of 2023 and continue into 2026. As of May 17, 2023, information regarding a Tower Crane bid package has not been confirmed but it is thought that this bid pack has been received and probably awarded. Information on project design status is not yet known. Timeline appears to be on track to start construction late 2023.
