**As of Aug 5, 2021 All BIDS rejected. Work on this project consists of removing and replacing existing sidewalk in areas and constructing new sidewalk in other areas on Sycamore, Dayton to Maple. The Contractor shall restore and reseed all disturbed areas. Every effort shall be made by the Contractor to restore disturbed areas as soon as possible. All restoration work is considered subsidiary to the bid item "Site Restoration". All work should be performed in such a manner so as to protect shrubs, trees and sod not scheduled to be removed. The Contractor shall work with property owners to ensure that cleanup and restoration work is performed to the reasonable satisfaction of the property owner. However, such agreement shall not relieve the Contractor from provisions and expectations of the contracted work to be performed. A Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid or an Annual Bid Bond Is Required Prior to Bid Opening. The Contractor shall read and fully comprehend every aspect of the contract provisions included in this bid proposal, prior to submitting a bid for the project. The work order on this project shall be issued 20 (twenty) calendar days after the date on which the contract for this project has been awarded to the successful bidder. Working days will be assessed starting the date of the work order. The work on this project shall be completed within 20 (twenty) working days from the date of beginning work and in accordance with the plans and Standard Specifications. Working days will be charged as provided for in the Standard Specifications, once the work order is issued. The non-availability of material shall not prevent working days from being assessed.
