TRIUMF is seeking a superconducting split-pair solenoid magnet with room temperature access ports. Among the major requirement specifications for this equipment, which are reflected in the device specifications in Part C of this document, are: 2.1.1. RT bore access from three orthogonal axes 2.1.2. A tiered homogeneity requirement to accommodate a range of experiments. 2.1.3. Provision of modulation coils to support experiments at zero-field and under field sweep. 2.1.4. Primary coils majorly operating in persistent mode, but able to perform field sweeps. 2.1.5.
