Broome Community College is seeking bids from qualified prime bidders for; General Construction. The Bidders shall provide, labor, materials, equipment and associated costs to complete all work necessary on the project. The project includes pavement rehabilitation, concrete sidewalks, and concrete slab work on the SUNY Broome Campus. Delivery via Federal Express, UPS, etc. can be arranged by contacting the purchasing office and providing your Federal Express, UPS, etc. account number. Refunds will be made in accordance with Article 5-A, Section 105, Subdivision 2 of the General Municipal Law, as amended. Attention of bidders is called to the "Information for Bidders" in the Proposal, Specifications and Contract Agreements. Each Proposal must be made upon the forms provided by the College and shall be accompanied by a deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Said Deposit shall be made pay- able to the SUNY Broome Community College, Treasurer, shall be considered a guarantee that the bid- der will enter into the Contract if it is awarded to him/her. Minimum Wage Rates shall be as determined by the New York State Department of Labor. Contract Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the words "SUNY Broome Community College Purchasing Office", the Project Title, and Contract Type, (ref: Supplementary General Conditions - 1.A.), plainly printed on the outside. Each bid must be in a separate envelope. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Deposit of Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to SUNY Broome Community College, Treasurer, in the amount specified by this advertisement and in the amount of five {5%) percent of the Bid. The retention and disposal of such Cash, Certified Check or Bid Bond, by SUNY Broome, shall conform with Article 5A, Section 105 of the General Municipal Law, as amended.
