Liquidated Damages $500.00 Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 08/04/2021 5:00 PM (PDT) The work to be performed for this project consists of all labor, material, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to construct a new parking lot by grinding and repaving the existing asphalt, upgrading the ADA access to meet current code standards, installing parking lot lights, installing the conduit for future EV charging stations, and improving the BMPs. This project is a public works project and is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), in accordance with the State of California Labor Code (Labor Code) Section 1770 et seq. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project and no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public works on a public works project unless registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. The successful Bidder shall possess a valid California Class A Contractor's license at the time of the bid award and the license shall remain in effect throughout the term of this contract. Bids must be made on the official Bid Proposal Form furnished with the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond consisting of certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory corporate surety bid bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount and made payable to Tahoe City Public Utility District. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Tahoe City Public Utility District, (Project Name), and the envelope should bear on the outside, the name and address of the Bidder. District reserves the right to accept the lowest responsible bid for the project, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid process. Bids must remain valid for a period of 45 days following the bid opening. Award of the bid is subject to the availability of funds.
