The Work comprises, but is not limited to: Mobilization; Traffic Control; installation of video detection; remove existing traffic signal backplate and replace with retroreflective backplate, removal and reconstruction of deteriorated pavement, grind and overlay asphalt pavement; deep patch removal and replacement of existing asphalt pavement; adjustment to grade of existing water valves covers, sewer, storm drain, and utility manhole covers; remove and reconstruct existing driveway approach; restoration of striping, pavement markings, and legends; installation of thermoplastic crosswalks and signage. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Chino Hills. If the bidder elects to furnish a Bid Bond as its security, the bidder must use the Bid Bond form bound herein, or one conforming substantially to it in form, and provide the City with a fully executed original. 100% Performance Bond; 100% Payment Bond.
