Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Renaming and multi-phase redevelopment of the former Riverview Hospital complex into a comprehensive community development called Semi'qwe ‘ela, meaning: Place of the Great Blue Heron. Concept plans include a mix of housing options, commercial, educational, healthcare services, parks, cemetery, walking paths, trails, community gardens, protected wildlife areas, and others. TIMELINE: Conceptual planning is ongoing, concurrent with continuing public consultation. A Public Advisory Group has been formed. BC Housing and the Kwikwetlam First Nation have partnered to proceed to the master planning process. Project scope and schedules are undefined at this time. Updates may be available in late spring, 2025. Budget is unreleased.
