Renovation of a municipal facility in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Province seeks to engage a construction manager to provide construction management services for the lifecycle renewal and tenant improvement project scope at the Port Coquitlam Courthouse, located in Port Coquitlam. The successful Proponent will provide but is not limited to providing pre-construction services in the development of realistic budget(s), and construction sequencing schedule(s), and construction phasing plan to meet the required completion dates, advising on materials which should be preordered (if necessary) to meet the project completion date, arranging temporary work (site investigation or site remediation). Tenant Improvement work includes reconfiguring courtrooms and ancillary spaces as well as information technology/information management (IMIT), move management and client moves. Lifecycle extension base building work will include – base building mechanical systems, electrical systems and building envelope upgrade/s The building is occupied by the Ministry of Attorney General and Supreme Court and Provincial Court. Regular operating hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, but very often this operation hour may extend to late hours and/or the weekends. All the work related to this project must be done after hours and/or on weekends. The successful Proponent is required to be flexible and coordinate their schedule to accommodate the operations of the occupants of the building on a daily basis. The Design Teams Will Be Providing Drawing Submissions at 60% and 95%, and Tender Drawings and Will Ensure That the Project is Designed in Accordance With and Meets the Province’s Technical and Environmental Standards – Rpd Technical Standards for Offices 2023 - Tenant Improvements, Environmental Stewardship Policy, and Rpd Physical Security Standard 2023 The preliminary construction estimate is approximately, $35 to $38 Million. For the purpose of this RFP, please use $37.5m as the estimate for pricing purposes Estimated Contract Duration month : 12 Enquiries Deadline : 2:00:00 PM
