The City of Beaverton is accepting will only accept electronic bids for the project, Scholls Valley Heights Phase 1, 1A & 2 Non-Potable Waterline, Project No.3826-22B. The project consists of the installation of approximately 2,850 lineal feet of 2" diameter, and 350 lineal feet of 6" diameter new non-potable water main and associated appurtenances. The project will require coordination with other contractors that are working on the site and that are not a part of this contract. The project cost is approximately between $140,000 and $170,000. This project is partially funded with federal funds through the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA). Attention is drawn to federal laws which will apply to this contract including the American Iron and Steel Requirement, Equal Opportunity, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Good Faith Efforts and other requirements. These requirements may be found in Exhibit 2 and 3 of the Contract. The contract expected to be awarded in connection with this solicitation is subject to the state prevailing wage rates under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.875 and/or the federal prevailing wage rates under the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.). No Bid will be received or considered by the City unless the Bid contains a statement by the Bidder that "Bidder agrees to be bound by and will comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.838, ORS 279C.840 or 40 U.S.C. 3141 to 3148."
