Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mart, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City of Mart is accepting proposals from qualified vendors for street rehabilitation, approximately four (4) miles in length. Proposals need to be priced per square foot in the following methods: METHOD 1: Mill existing roads, grade subgrade and maintain positive drainage, stabilize to minimum 6" depth, roll and compact, and overlay with 2 ASPPM Grade 4 cold mix, METHOD 2: Mill in place and lay back approximately 6 depth, grade subgrade and maintain positive drainage, roll and compact, treat 4 with Iron Soil Stabilization Product, roll and compact. It is always the vendor's responsibility to check the City of Mart's website for any/all addenda. The City of Mart reserves the right to reject any or all bids based on past performance and to waive technicalities and informalities and re-advertise. Only responsive bids that are determined to meet the requirements and criteria set forth by the City of Mart will be considered. The City of Mart is accepting bids to rehabilitate approximately four miles (394,590 square feet) of streets. The contractor must furnish all materials, machinery, equipment, fuel, uperintendence, insurance, and bonds; and for performing all work required for the maintenance and repair of parking lots, driveways, driveway aprons, flumes, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. Utilization of City equipment may be available. Contact City Hall for clarification. Bids must be in the form of price per square foot. There are two repair methods that will be accepted. The primary rehabilitation method will be to Mill existing roads, stabilize to minimum 6" depth, roll and compact, and overlay with 2" ASPPM Grade 4 cold mix. The second method of rehabilitation is to Mill in place and lay back approximately 6" depth, grade subgrade and maintain positive drainage, roll and compact, treat 4" with Iron Soil Stabilization Product, roll and compact.
