A. Vendor shall provide three (3) 14 inch, 200 horsepower submersible, solids handling, explosion proof sewage pumps, Model number D5731MV. Said pumps shall include integral non-sparking guide rail brackets, three (3) 14 inch pump discharge elbows, and a new triplex 200HP weatherproof, free standing back-to-back Stainless Steel MCC pump control panel, as specified herein. This bid shall be awarded as a package bid for the pumps, elbows, and control panel. The pumps must match the design, quality, and hydraulic performance requirements listed in these specifications. The pumps must also be a direct hydraulic and dimensional replacement to the existing Fairbanks Morse submersible pumps currently in the Meadowbrook pump station, allowing for interchangeability during an emergency. The pump motors shall possess a stainless steel nametag stating that the pumps are assembled in the U.S.A., and showing UL approval for Class I Division I explosion proof environments. Any bids submitted for pump manufacturers, other than that as specified, must include in their bid all information needed to fully demonstrate complete compliance with requirements of these specifications. Pumps under this bid shall be furnished by the area authorized factory representative of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana for the brand being offered. All pumps on this bid will require certified Hydraulic Institute pump performance tests, conducted in the same facility that the pumps were assembled and manufactured in. These hydraulic performance tests shall certify at least five (5) separate operating points along its operating curve, including the duty point and shut-off; and show GPM, TDH, efficiency, and BHP at each tested point. These certified curves shall be approved by Jefferson Parish, or an appointed agent before the pump can be released for shipment. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder complying with all provisions of this invitation, providing the bid is reasonable, and in the best interest of Jefferson Parish to accept. Jefferson Parish reserves the right to accept or reject any bids that are incomplete or do not demonstrate that they are equal to the requirements of these specifications.
