The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: removal and disposal of existing HVAC units (2 units of 12 1/2 t. and 1 unit of 7 1/2 t.); the supply, installation and start-up of new HVAC units (2 units of 10 1/2 t. and 1 unit of 7 1/2 t.); and various ancillary works. Only bidders having a place of business in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement on the liberalization of public contracts concluded with Quebec and applicable to the City are authorized to submit an offer. In addition, interested parties are requested to take note that they must visit the work site before submitting an offer in response to this call for tenders. Any breach of this obligation by a tenderer may result in the rejection of his tender. To be considered, the offer must be accompanied by a tender guarantee of a minimum value of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the offer (taxes included), valid for a period of eighty- ten (90) days following the date on which the tenders are opened, in one of the forms described below: a certified check or bank draft made out to the order of Ville de Bois-des-Filion ; Where a bid bond issued by an insurance company authorized by the Autorite des marches financiers du Quebec (AMF) to act as surety.
