Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System (SAWS) for the construction of approximately 3,916 linear feet of 30-inch ductile iron water main improvements inclusive of valves, fittings, casing via pipe jacking, appurtenances for the Lockhill-Selma Pressure Zone (PZ) 1111 30-inch Water Main Project, SAWS Job No. 20-7002. The Lockhill-Selma PZ 1111 30-inch Water Main Project is located along Old Lockhill Selma Rd, southwest of Indian Woods Rd, heading southeast to Lockhill Selma Rd, continues along Lockhill Selma Rd to tie-in northwest of Huebner Rd. The project area can have high traffic volumes between De Zavala Rd. and Hueber Rd. There is the Basis - San Antonio Shavano Campus school and the shopping center at the intersection of Huebner Rd/Lockhill Selma. If Bidders intend to submit bids electronically, Bidders will need to submit a request by August 25, 2021 by 9:00 AM CDT to receive access to the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site via email to Florinda.Gonzales@saws.org. Bidder's email requesting access to the FTP site shall provide the legal name of Bidder's company and the intended recipient's email address and phone number. No requests for FTP site access will be accepted after August 25, 2021 by 9:00 AM (CDT).
