This project consists of sediment removal from a regional stormwater detention pond (Taylor Pond) and minor improvement of the pond berm structures and inlet pipes to facilitate future maintenance. This project also consists of removal oftrees, revegetation ofthe pond edge, and other related work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the 2021 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. The estimated cost of construction is $347,000. This project is subject to State prevailing wage requirements. Questions or clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bid must be received by 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2021. You must be a registered Plan Holder to submit a bid. A bid deposit in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid total shall be submitted with each bid proposal in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, or cashier's check. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Mountlake Terrace.
