Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project is comprised of constructing double course bituminous surface treatment seal coats using 3/8-inch to No. 10 aggregate and 1/2 -inch to No. 4 aggregate, followed by a fog seal, upon 2.6 to 3.8 miles of local streets, covering an area of approximately 50,000 to 70,000 square yards. The work includes all temporary traffic control, and other work Bid proposals shall be accompanied by a 5% bid proposal deposit as detailed in the Bidder's Instructions. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Mountlake Terrace. The City retains the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in the bidding process. The City of Mountlake Terrace is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The estimated cost of construction for this project is between $625,000 and $850,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
