Bidders shall be advised that in accordance with the Mississippi Code, the Military Department has Thirty (30) calendar days to deliver a warrant to the vendor from the date an application for payment is determined to be due and payable under the terms and conditions of the contract. Award of contract is subject to availability of funds. Bids will be held open for 60 days from bid date. The Adjutant General reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive informalities. Construct a 968 square foot addition to the existing USPFO Office building located at 144 Military Drive, Flowood, MS 39232. The construction shall match the existing facility. Building envelope is CMU block walls with 36" high split faced CMU block topped with an 8" precast water table with horizontally applied metal siding above to the underside of the eave. Roofing system is standing seam metal roof over 5/8" CD plywood deck on premanufactured wood trusses. Soffit is vented metal panels. R-38 insulation is installed at the bottom cord of the trusses. Interior partitions are metal studs with gypsum board finish. Acoustical ceiling system is suspended from the bottom cord of the trusses. The new addition shall have a solid ceiling system attached to the underside of the roof truss. All walls and partitions shall extend to the underside of the solid ceiling and be finished full height. Doors shall be solid core wood doors in metal frames and shall have a STC=50 rating. Flooring shall be static guard carpet tile. Mechanical system shall be an above the ceiling concealed fan coil unit designed to process ventilation air. The outdoor air intake for the unit shall be placed on the exterior wall of the existing facility and ducted through the secure wall to the unit located in the space. Condensing unit shall be placed on the exterior of the facility. Electrical and lighting systems. Site work shall include relocating existing storm sewer drain line and installing new catch basins and pipe.
