This rehabilitation primarily consists of combining the Utility Maintenance Building and adjacent Storage Garage by constructing an addition that connects the two buildings, measuring 23 1/2 ' x 20' and replacing vinyl siding on the entire structure once connected. Location The Utility Maintenance Building and Storage Garage are located at 162 West Thompson Road, North Grosvenordale, CT 06255 The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. No Payment Protections Required for construction contracts less than $35,000 This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million.Work shall commence within 15 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed no later than 210 days from the Notice to Proceed date. Work shall be performed Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM unless otherwise approved by the Technical Point of Contact. No work shall be done on weekends or Government holidays Summary - Furnish all materials, equipment, and labor to rehabilitate the Utility Maintenance Building and adjacent Storage Garage located at West Thompson Lake in North Grosvenordale, Connecticut. Framing & Sheathing Add exterior walls and roofing, keying into existing structures, where applicable. Add sheathing for new roof and exterior walls. Remove two windows in office and reframe wall, to include rough opening for doorway into Storage Area. Reframe two garage doors in Vehicle Storage Garage to accommodate a single, large garage door. Exterior Walls, Doors, and Windows Replace vinyl siding and trim for the entire exterior of the updated Utility Maintenance Building. For new construction and areas noted below, insulate exterior walls, add new exterior door and new windows, and install one new garage door (replaces two existing doors in Vehicle Storage Area). Replace existing Office door ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
