Site work and paving for a road / highway in Guelph, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City Link Trail Improvement project is to improve accessibility for visitors following the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards for recreational trails, and to reestablish portions of native vegetation along the Speed River. The trail improvements will include reconstruction of the existing trail with limestone screenings to improve general use and accessibility between the west trailhead at Victoria Road North and the Guelph Lake Dam. Improve access per the current Integrated Accessibility Standards under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act including; regrading and retention of adjacent soils where necessary, provide culverts or positive drainage in low lying areas. Re-establish the under-story vegetation at existing off-shoot trails and repairing the packed earth trail surfacing as required. Install trail amenities including lookout, seating and signage areas.
