This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health("WDGPH") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of building security monitoring and preventative maintenance servicesas further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). WDGPH is a public health unit in Ontario with offices located in Guelph, Orangeville and Fergus. Each office has a building security system that is managed centrally through equipment located at the Guelph office. The security system consists of controlled door access through the use of fob technology imbedded in ID cards and entry keypads run by IdentivHirsch Velocity software and security cameras throughout the building, including the parking gates, run by Exacqvision Video Management System. WDGPH requires a building security system contractor to provide monitoring and preventative maintenance services of the access control, security alarm and camera hardware and software. In addition, the contractor will be responsible for installation and testing of any required new components to the security system.
