Contractors may purchase additional sets of drawings from Charleston Blueprint at their own expense. Contractors purchasing additional bidding documents are also responsible for obtaining and purchasing copies of any and all addenda, including any shipping or handling costs. Davis-Bacon Act and Buy America Act: Bidders should be aware that the Davis-Bacon Act applies to this project. Applicable wage scale decision for this project is contained within the specifications as an attachment to Section 011000. Buy America Act does not apply to this project; however, awards made under the CRRSA Act and ARP Act are subject to 2 CFR 200.322 which establishes domestic preferences for procurements under Federal grants that are subject to the Uniform Guidance All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety, in an amount equal to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a 100% Performance and Material Payment Bond in the amount of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening.
