Drainage Improvements in the Eastex Freeway Forest Subdivision Section 3 & 4 for Harris County UPIN 20090MF1HE01(BONFIRE) The County requires Vendors to make a good faith effort to meet or exceed a 13.00%goal for participation by M/WBEs on this project. NIGP: 913-68,913-81,968-73 Harris County intends to reduce the risk of structural flooding within The Eastex Freeway Forest Sec. 3 & 4 Subdivision located in north central Harris County. The Project Area is bound by Winfield Road to the south, Aldine Mail Route to the north, apartment and commercial properties to the east, and Water Control & Improvement District (WCID No. 74) and commercial properties to the west. Mac Naughton Dr, Marquita Ln, Beau Ln, Bethany Ln are streets included within the project area. The project area is located within the Halls Bayou watershed and 500-year flood plain as per 2019 FEMA Maps. The objective of the proposed project is to reduce the risk of structural flooding from future storm events by increasing the storm water capacity and improving conveyance of storm water out of the subdivision. This project will include: o Replacing the storm sewer trunk line along MacNaughton Drive to Marquita Lane o Replacing existing storm inlets with properly sized inlets at MacNaughton Drive, Bethany Lane, Beau Lane, and Marquita Lane o Extending storm sewer to additional inlets on Bethany Lane and Beau Lane o Lower pavement and install new curb and gutter concrete pavement on Beau Lane and Bethany Lane o Lower pavement and install new curb and gutter concrete pavement along MacNaughton Drive o Remove and replace driveways along all pavement replacements
