Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Newton, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The general scope of Work includes, site modifications including sidewalk repair and replacement. A certified check drawn upon a solvent bank or bid bond executed by corporations authorized to contract as surety in Iowa, and submitted on AIA Document A310 - Bid Bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid and made payable to "JASPER COUNTY", shall be filed with each bidder's proposal as a guarantee that the accepted bidder shall enter into a contract with the Jasper County and file an approved surety company Performance and Payment Bond for the faithful performance thereof. Upon failure to comply, said check or bid bond shall become forfeited as liquidated damages. Beeline and Blue within 14 calendar days after opening of bids. Cash deposits will not be accepted. Bidding Documents will be made available for viewing or download online at website on March 4, 2022. All proposals shall be filed on forms furnished, sealed, and plainly marked as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Jasper County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the proposal which appears to be in the best interest of Jasper County.
