Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Vail, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
As of February 23, 2022, project was not yet awarded. it is expected to be awarded on March 1, 2022. The project generally consists of the rehabilitation of an existing pedestrian bridge in Ford Park over Gore Creek. Work includes replacement of the timber deck with a concrete corrugated metal deck and replacement of the timber bridge railing with a similar railing. Bidders are required to select one of the two alternate construction schedules for the project and note the selection on the Bid Form. All work shall be completed within the bidder selected construction schedule. The general timeline for the work is as follows: Notice of Award March 2, 2022 Notice to Proceed March 16, 2022 Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid must accompany each Bid.No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of thirty (30) days after Bid opening.The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids.
