Renovation of a power facility in East Wenatchee, Washington. Working plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
** As of 11/11/21 this project has been cancelled and plans to rebid in a later time** The Work which the Contractor shall perform is a turnkey system to manufacture, deliver, place, test and commission five Generator Step-Up (GSU) Transformers, replace the spare GSU transformer, and remove and dispose of five existing GSU Transformers. There are five GSU transformers currently in-service in the switchyard on top of the dam. There is one spare GSU transformer currently stored on the west embankment. The five new transformers shall be put into service in the switchyard. The best of the existing transformers to be removed from the switchyard will become the spare and shall be moved and placed in the spare containment on the west embankment. The existing spare will be one of the five transformers to be disposed of. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
